The Frenchman plays with style and flat-out guts

Victor was defeated by Jason Day in the final of the Accenture Match Play recently, but the defeat was a huge win for him. The finish vaulted him up the PGA Tour money list, and the former #1 ranked amateur has now locked-in his spot on tour for this year and next.

His play was brave and brilliant, and he earned praises from Jason Day following their epic 23-hole finale at the WGC:

“Obviously I didn’t want it to go this long, but Vic, man, he has a lot of guts”

Here’s what Victor had in the bag to secure his head turning second place finish:

Driver: 9.5 degree Titleist 913 D2 with Aldila Tour Blue 65 TX-Flex shaft
3 Wood: 15 degree Titleist 913F.d with Diamana S+ 82 X-Flex shaft
Hybrid: 21 degree Titleist 913H
Irons: Titleist AP2 714 (3-9) with True Temper Project X 6.5 shafts
Wedges: Titleist Vokey Design SM4 (48-6), Vokey TVD M Grind (52), Vokey 2014 Prototype K Grind (58-6) with True Temper Project X 6.5 shafts
Putter: Scotty Cameron Select Newport 2 Notchback
Ball: Titleist Pro V1X

Congratulations Victor. We look forward to seeing a lot more of you on tour!
