Tiger Woods Turns 38

…and the all-time major championship record remains on the horizon.
Tiger Woods Turns 38

The most successful and controversial golfer of our time had his birthday today. That’s right, Mr. Eldrick ‘Tiger’ Woods has turned 38.

While most will wish Tiger all the best (ourselves included) on this special day, we think Tiger has his mind on more pressing issues. No, not his new girlfriend Lindsey Vonn… We’re of course talking about the all-time major championship record of 18 titles.

Jack Nicklaus still holds the title with 18 major championship wins. Tiger currently sits at 14, and at 38 years of age, time would suggest the sun is going down on his major record charge.

Can Tiger match and eclipse the record? Only time will tell. But if Tiger wants to be the best of all time, he’ll have to do something that only two professionals aged 38 or older have done; win 4 or more major titles (Jack captured four, Hogan brought home five).

A tall task indeed, but if anyone has the talent, drive, and determination to accomplish this feat… it’s Tiger.
