Michelle Wie captured her first-ever major championship with a 2 shot win at the Women’s U.S. Open at Pinehurst this past weekend. The performance was rock-solid, and when faced with adversity, she stepped up to make the putt, time and again.
Her cool, calm, and relaxed demeanor was evident all weekend long, especially on Sunday when she was faced with a tough putt for double bogey. After knocking it in, she laughed it off, and went on to birdie the tough par 3 17th.
