Martin Kaymer put on a masterful display of golf at the 2014 U.S. Open at Pinehurst this past weekend. It was domination personified. Leading all the way from the first round on, Kaymer played a steady and impressive brand of golf, a level of golf one or two notches above everyone else in the field. In the end, Kaymer won by 8 shots (-9) over Rickie Fowler and Erik Compton (-1).
As we do, let’s take a look at what Martin had in the bag to take home his second major in such dominating fashion:
Driver: 8.5 degree TaylorMade SLDR 460 with Graphite Design Tour AD DI-6X shaft
3 Wood: 14 degree TaylorMade SLDR with Graphite Design Tour AD DI-7X shaft
Irons: TaylorMade Tour Preferred MC (3-PW) with True Temper Dynamic Gold X100 Tour Issue shafts
Wedges: TaylorMade XFT TP (51, 58) with True Temper Dynamic Gold X100 Tour Issue shafts

Well done Martin!
