Japanese Tour rookie Hideki Matsuyama has signed a deal with Dunlop Sports. The young up-and-comer has already earned the Silver Cup at the 2011 Masters, and won the 2011 Mitsui Sumitomo VISA Taiheiyo Masters as an amateur. Since turning pro, he won the Tsuruya Open in his second start, and won again at the Diamond Cup. Just a few weeks ago he finished tied for 10th at the U.S. Open. Not a bad start as a professional for the youngster.
As a result of the deal, Hideki will have a bag full of Cleveland and Srixon gear. This is what we can expect to find in the bag:
- Driver: Srixon Z725 Prototype
- Fairway Wood: Srixon
- Utility: Srixon
- Iron: Srixon Z925 (3-PW)
- Wedges: Cleveland CG 17 Forged
- Ball: Srixon Z-Star XV
Congratulations to Hideki. Looking forward to big things from this young professional!
