David Duval makes cut at Zurich Classic

Putting forth what he called a ‘guttier’ performance, David Duval battled back from a tough start to make the cut at the Zurich Classic. Starting with a solid 68 and 69 to start the week, Duval is actually in great shape heading into the weekend.

The cut is Duval’s third in seven PGA Tour events this season.

Only reason we bring this story up… we love Duval. The former #1 in the world has had some tough times in years past, and he’s very open about his struggle to return his game to former glory. With more cuts made, and more solid finishes, we’re hoping to see Duval atop the podium one or two more times on the PGA Tour before he’s done.
