The number of features built-in to the new BiO CELL line from Cobra is impressive. While we don’t have full specs on the fairways, hybrids and irons just yet, we can tell you all about the driver.
The BiO CELL driver features MyFly8, Smart Pad, the E9 face, and a new BiO CELL technology designed to help improve distance and manage your trajectory.
MyFly8 provides golfers with the option to adjust trajectory to 8 different loft settings. Choose from 9, 9.5, 10.5, 11.5, and 12 degrees… PLUS, three draw settings including 9.5, 10.5 and 11.5 degrees.
This new technology is really quite clever. What Smart Pad does is make sure the angle of your club stays square at address, even if you have it set to a draw setting. This helps with confidence and aim. Instead of having your clubhead slightly closed, the square address position will give you the confidence to aim where you need, knowing a slight draw is on the way!
BiO CELLS and E9 Face Tech
The new BiO CELL technology works with Cobra’s long celebrated E9 face technology to remove weight from the face and move it down low and to the back of the club. This delivers a higher MOI, increases the sweet spot, and in the end allows you to hit longer and straighter drives.
Available for a MSRP of $299, the Cobra BiO CELL Driver will come in five colors, including Blue Aster, Barbados Red, Vibrant Orange, Silver, and Black. The stock driver comes with a Project X – PXV shaft and will be available in right and left-hand models in x-stiff, stiff, regular and lite flexes.
BiO CELL Fairways, Hybrids and Irons
The BiO CELL fairways and hybrids are available in the same colors as the driver, however the irons will not be available in black. The fairways and hybrids feature MyFly8 and SmartPad technology too.
More details to come on the BiO CELL fairways, hybrids and irons.
