The fiery and supremely talented Billy Horschel got ‘er done this past weekend at the BMW Championship. His final score of -14 was two better than Bubba Watson (-12) and three better than Morgan Hoffmann.
The win was that much more impressive when you consider what happened to him the week before. Only 1 shot back on the 18th hole, and playing his second shot into a very reachable par 5, Billy chunked a 6-iron into the hazard, handing the Deutsche Bank title to Chris Kirk.
Clearly, Horschel doesn’t dwell on that kind of thing, a trait that is common in most professional golfers.
