Ben Crane’s winning equipment from the St. Jude Classic

Titleist from top to bottom (well, almost)
Ben Crane's winning equipment from the St. Jude Classic

Ben Crane took home his fifth career PGA Tour win this past weekend by capturing the FedEx St. Jude Classic by one shot over Troy Merritt. The win was a long awaited one for Crane, who had not won on tour since 2011.

‘Holding on’ is how you might describe Crane’s final round. He shot a 73 to finish at 10-under par, and didn’t card a single birdie in the last 18. Crane showed great poise and composure by holding together a round that could have easily gotten away from him.

As we like to do here’s a quick look at what Crane had in the bag to pocket a well deserved victory:

Driver: 9.5 degree Titleist 913 D2 with Mitsubishi Rayon Bassara W 50 (X-Flex) shaft
3 Wood: 14.5 degree TaylorMade RBZ Stage 2 Tour with Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana D+ 72X shaft
5 Wood: 18 degree Titleist 913 F.d with Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana D+ 82X shaft
Hybrid: 21 degree Titleist 910H with UST Mamiya ProForce AXIVCore 100 (X-Flex) shaft
Irons: Titleist 712U (4 iron), Titleist 714 AP2 (5-9) all with Aerotech SteelFiber i95 (S-Flex) shafts
Wedges: Titleist Vokey Design SM4 (48-10 and 56-14) Vokey Hand Ground (59 V Grind)
Putter: Odyssey White Hot #5
Ball: Titleist Pro V1X

Well done Ben!
