Andrew Putnam secures first pro win

The other day aspiring tour professional Andrew Putnam secured his first ever professional win at the WNB Classic in Midland, Texas.

The 25-year-old second-year pro shot an impressive 64 in the third round to open up a 7-stroke lead over second place. A lead he never relinquished.

The win earned Putnam a cool $108,000, and vaulted him to second from sixth in the Tour money list.

As we do, let’s take a look at what Andrew had in the bag:

Driver: 9 degree Cleveland Classic 290 with Miyazaki Blue shaft
4-wood: 14 degree Cleveland Launcher FL with Miyazaki Black shaft
Irons: Cleveland 588 CB (3-PW)
Wedges: Cleveland 588 RTX (54 & 60)
Ball: Srixon Z-STAR XV

Congratulations Andrew!

Note: Yes, if you were wondering, Adam is the younger brother of Michael Putnam, who is currently on the PGA Tour (after winning the Tour money title LAST year). Quite the golfing family!
