Adam Scott’s winning bag from the 2013 Australian Masters

That’s two in a row!
Adam Scott’s winning bag from the 2013 Australian Masters

It’s a rare thing to have a player defend a championship. Rarer still to have a player defend his ‘home’ championship. That’s exactly what Adam Scott did over the weekend, capturing his second Aussie Masters title in consecutive years (was also his second victory in consecutive weeks).

Scott made his way around Royal Melbourne at even par on Sunday, for a total of 14-under 270 and a two-shot triumph over American Matt Kuchar. The defeat was especially tough for Kuchar, as he was ahead by two with four to play when he double-bogeyed the 18th, opening the door for Scott.

A closer look at what Adam had in the bag for the victory:

Driver: 9.5 degree Titleist 913D3 with Graphite Design Tour AD-DI 8X shaft
3 Wood: 13.5 degree Titleist 910 Fd
with Fujikura Rombax Pro 95 (X-Flex) shaft
Utility: Titleist 712U (2-iron) with  KBS Tour (X-Flex) shaft
Irons: Titleist Forged 680 MB (3-9) KBS Tour (X-Flex) shafts
Wedges: Titleist Vokey Design SM4 (48, and 54 Degrees) and Vokey TVD-K (60 Degrees)
with KBS Tour Hi-Rev (X-Flex) shafts
Putter: Scotty Cameron Futura X Long
Ball: Titleist ProV1

Well done Adam!
